Provides an Telephone, Computer Networking & Internet Protocol connection between buildings up to 5km apart. Guaranteed Performance due to the use of high frequency bands (38GHz) Versions include:
  • Single E1 (G.703) connection
  • 10BaseT Ethernet + optional X.21
  • Four E1 (G.703) circuits
  • 10BaseT Ethernet + 3 E1 circuits

All systems are fully type approved to all International Standards (MPT, ETSI, ITU, FCC).

The DataWave 38 Series radios are intended to provide a low cost 38GHz terminal for short haul microcell and point to point applications enabling the linking of computer networks and telephone systems.

In it's basic form it has a fixed data rate of 2.048 Mb/s (E1).The complete radio is contained in one unit for outdoor mounting with indoor units offering mains power supply and, if required, a X.21 or IP port for computer networking.

The transceiver, modem and antenna are enclosed in the outdoor unit to facilitate easy installation and low cost.

Control and status monitoring is provided by a RS-485 local link.
