The Eloquence E-Link 1 is the first product in the new E-Link family. This range of products will provide connectivity E1 connectivity in a variety of situations.

The E-Link 1 is a single channel unit allowing E1 to X.21/V.11 or V.35 rate and interface conversion. Any N x 64kb/s (to 2048kb/s) X.21/V.11 or V.35 DTE device can be connected to a G.703 or contiguous timeslot G.704 link. The unit can run transparently at 2048kb/s, or as low as 64kb/s if required.

The E-Link 2 combines all the functionality of the E-Link 1 with the addition of a 10BASE-T Ethernet port for SNMP management.

Applicatons



Service Provider Application

The service provider distributes leased circuits through their SDH network and G.703 tail circuits connect to the customer. Where appropriate the E-Link 1 is utilised to convert to X.21/V.11 or V.35 at any n x 64kb/s rate.
