InThe Eloquence Envoy multiplexer fulfils all your voice and data requirements in one product.
The modular design allows you tailor the format of the equipment to your requirements.
As many as 28 voice channels can be installed in a single unit, and more if additional chassis are deployed.tended for use on n x 64kb/s, E1 and T1 (including fractional) links, the Envoy's range of voice and data options allow the user to utilise available bandwidth to the full.
Analogue voice channels allow compression using 2, 3 or 4 bit ADPCM, or straight digitising using 8 bit PCM. A variety of data options are also available
Composite link speeds up to 2048kb/s can be configured for use with E1, T1, RS232, RS449, EIA530, EIA530-A, V.35, V.36 or X.21 services as required.
For example, the Envoy multiplexer is perfectly suited to microwave radio applications, where it can be used to provide voice connectivity for remote locations such as oil rigs. APDCM compression concentrates more voice channels on to a lower bandwidth link, and FXO/FXS signalling removes the requirement for a remote switch, further reducing costs.
Functionality of the unit is further enhanced by the option of high speed data channels to interconnect Bridges and Routers.
