Product Description

The ISO35 is an opto isolator designed to fit between two V.35 devices and provides up to 3.5KV (peak) isolation.

The ISO35 is ideal in areas where spikes and earthing differences could damage sensitive and expensive equipment. The product is ideal for telephony applications to protect and isolate exchange equipment.

Other uses also include industrial applications where heavy electrical equipment can induce significant high voltage spikes onto sensitive communication lines.

LED indicators monitor both the transmit and receive data pairs in addition to the V.24 control lines - DSR, CTS and DCD.

The unit can optionally be equipped with a clocking option which generates a clock signal at rates from 64Kb/s to 2048Kb/s in 64Kb/s steps.

Jumper options allow the clock signals to be presented on the interfaces as either an external transmit clock signal to an attached DCE or as a normal transmit clock to an attached DTE. This allows the unit to act as an isolating network to attached equipment
